Marketplace Systems HQ
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 November 2026
This policy explains how Marketplace Systems HQ handles information when its private tools are used to manage authorised eBay seller accounts.
Information we handle
Our tools may access seller-controlled eBay information needed for listing and inventory management, such as listing details, stock-keeping units, quantities, prices, inventory locations and seller business-policy settings.
The application is designed for use by the authorised seller. It does not request buyer identity, order, payment, message, delivery, tracking or fulfilment information.
How we use information
Information is used only to operate and secure the seller-account tools, manage the authorised seller's listings and inventory, diagnose operational problems, and meet platform compliance requirements. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising or unrelated profiling.
Sharing and service providers
Information is shared only where needed to provide and protect the service, including with eBay as the connected marketplace and Cloudflare for secure web delivery. We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not share information with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections and protected credential storage. Access is restricted to authorised operators and systems. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, alteration or loss.
Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as it is needed to operate the service, meet legal or compliance obligations, or resolve security and operational issues. Access tokens and locally held service data are removed or rendered unusable when access is revoked or the relevant service is retired, subject to any necessary backup or legal-retention period.
eBay marketplace account-deletion notifications are validated and processed for compliance. The notification endpoint does not intentionally retain the affected eBay user identifier.
Your choices and rights
You may revoke the application's access through your eBay account. You may also contact us to ask about information associated with your use of the service or to request access, correction or deletion where applicable. Legal rights vary by location and may be subject to lawful exceptions.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, legal requirements or platform requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
